Indication: Sodium picosulfate is a laxative and is used to treat constipation or induce colon cleansing to prepare the large bowels before colonoscopy or surgery . Sodium picosulfate is a stimulant laxative that in conjunction with magnesium citrate, produces a purgative effect on stools.
