Indication: Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase  inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria. You have been Prescribed this combination medicine to treat bacterial infections even if they have developed resistance. It used to treat severe bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ear, lungs, throat, tonsil and skin or infections like typhoid fever or gonorrhoea.
